Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Physics, a translation of Izvestiya Rossiiskoi Akademii Nauk, Seriya Fizicheskaya was founded in 1936 as the only Russian journal publishing the proceedings of conferences and workshops in different fields of physics, which were presented by the organizing committees of conferences. The journal publishes the results of investigations carried out at academic and other research institutes, as well as universities in Russia and abroad. The journal contains the most recent and best results on nuclear physics, laser physics, solid-state physics, cosmic rays, nanophotonics, nonlinear optics, X-ray optics, physics of the Sun, etc.
